
The effect of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for frugality and fuel saving is now visible at the ground level. In this series, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav set an example by traveling by metro train like a common citizen in New Delhi on 14 May.
CM Yadav traveled by metro from Shivaji Stadium to Aerocity without using his carcade. During this, he also had a cordial conversation with his co-passengers and got to know the views of the public. The travelers appreciated the schemes and development works of Madhya Pradesh, while the Chief Minister also accepted everyone’s greetings.
Through this yatra, the Chief Minister gave the message of clean environment, fuel saving and use of public transport. He said that means like metro not only save time but also play an important role in reducing pollution and energy conservation. This initiative strengthens the goal of ‘Developed India’ and ‘Green Mobility’.

CM Mohan Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government is seriously implementing the appeal of Prime Minister Modi. A guideline has also been prepared for this, under which emphasis is being laid on virtual cabinet meetings, less use of vehicles and promotion of public transport.
He also said that in view of the global circumstances, it is necessary to reduce the consumption of petrol and diesel, so that the country’s foreign dependence can be reduced and resources can be saved. In this direction, ministers and officials have also been advised to use vehicles to a minimum. The Chief Minister clarified that now vehicle rallies will not be taken out during his tours and carcades are also being limited.
