A major accident took place in Dwarka area of Delhi on Thursday, 30 April 2026, where three children died due to drowning in the golf course pond. On receiving information about this accident, the fire department and police team arrived and started relief work. Now the pain of Harsh’s mother, who lost her life in this accident, has been expressed.
Sonia, mother of Harsh, who drowned in the pond, said, “My child came out around 2–2:30. Later, I went home and slept at night, so I didn’t realize what had happened… so I thought he would come back as usual…”
By the time he was taken out, he had already died.
The administration became active on the information of children drowning in the pond, SHO of Police Station Sector-23 Dwarka immediately reached the spot with his team. Along with this, other agencies including fire brigade were called to the spot. The rescue team pulled out the three children from the pond but by then they had died.
Police sent the bodies for postmortem
According to officials, the age of those who lost their lives in this accident is said to be around 8 to 10 years. Children’s clothes have been recovered from outside the pond. Police have sent the bodies of the three children for post-mortem. Also, forensic teams are trying to find out the reason behind this accident.
At present, this incident which came to light from Dwarka area of Delhi has shocked everyone, and has also exposed the serious carelessness of parents towards the safety and responsibility of children. Had the parents known about their children, perhaps these three children would have been alive today. But, who can avoid it? Everyone is in shock after the incident.
