National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Vinod Tawde on Monday Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath Met with. He discussed organization expansion and cabinet expansion with CM Yogi. Earlier on Sunday, Tawde met several ministers and leaders including state president Pankaj Chaudhary separately and brainstormed. It is believed that cabinet expansion may soon get the green signal. Party general secretary Tawde will soon submit the report to the central leadership.
Strategy will be worked out keeping in view the cabinet expansion and caste equation in the organization and the upcoming assembly elections. Along with this, it is also possible to discuss the role of the constituent parties of NDA.
Brainstorming on cabinet expansion intensifies
National General Secretary Vinod Tawde’s visit to Lucknow is considered very important from the BJP’s point of view. Cabinet expansion has been stuck in the state for a long time. After the Lok Sabha elections, the election of the state president was first postponed, but now many months had passed even after Pankaj Chaudhary became the state president. Since the party is now also starting preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. Therefore, along with the expansion of the cabinet, the outline of the organization also has to be approved.
Talk to Union Minister on phone
Apart from this, the National General Secretary spoke on phone with many leaders including Mahendranath Pandey this morning. There was also a phone conversation with a former Union Minister. Also held meetings with former UP minister Mahendra Singh at some other places. Vinod Tawde will now meet some BJP leaders of UP in Delhi tomorrow. Will take feedback of UP from them also.
Sources said that overall a report is being prepared on the expansion of the organization, new team of UP BJP, caste balance, cabinet expansion. Soon Vinod Tawde will submit his complete report to the central leadership. After which expansion is expected soon.
