State Farmers Commission will be formed
CM Sukhu announced to fulfill one more guarantee. Said that State Farmers Commission will be formed. Seed villages will be established for traditional seeds in the state. In this, subsidy will be provided to the farmers.

MSP for purchase of ginger for the first time
An outlay of Rs 500 crore is proposed in the field of animal husbandry. CM Sukhu increased the MSP of naturally produced wheat from Rs 60 to Rs 80 per kg. Announced price of maize at Rs 40 to Rs 50 per kg, Pangi barley at Rs 60 to Rs 80 and turmeric at Rs 90 to Rs 150 per kg. Apart from this, for the first time in the state, MSP for the purchase of ginger was implemented and Rs 30 per kg was announced.

increased purchasing price of milk
CM Sukhu announced to increase the purchasing price of cow milk from Rs 51 to Rs 61 per liter. Also announced to increase buffalo milk price from Rs 61 to Rs 71 per litre. Digital cards and life insurance facilities will be available for the shepherds. A scheme worth Rs 300 crore will be started for sheep rearing.

Provision of Rs 500 crore to complete 300 incomplete works
Import tariffs on apples, trade deal will devastate our rural economy. This is injustice to the farmers and gardeners. We will fulfill all the guarantees despite the RDG being stopped and despite all the economic challenges. CM announced a provision of Rs 500 crore to complete 300 incomplete works. A provision of Rs 500 crore has been made to complete such schemes.

We will not back down from our decisions: CM
CM Sukhu said that we will not back down from our decisions. CM said that the budget size for 2026-27 is Rs 54,928 crore. Rs 58,514 crore was presented in the current financial year. There has been a cut of about Rs 3586 crore in the budget. Will fulfill all guarantees 100 percent. Himachal cannot be compared with Uttarakhand and Assam: CM
CM Sukhu said that Himachal cannot be compared with Uttarakhand and Assam. It is not a revenue surplus state. Himachal is not getting proper help from the Centre. The previous government received Rs 47,000 crore as RDG and Rs 13,000 crore as GST reimbursement. If the previous government had repaid even 50 percent of the loan, there would not have been a debt trap situation today. Now useless institutions will have to be closed. Wasteful expenditure has to be stopped.

Angered by the comment on BJP, the opposition raised slogans
Chief Minister Sukhvindra Sukhu said in the beginning of the budget speech that the closure of RDG will have an impact in the state. Due to the economic crisis caused by the closure of RDG by the 16th Finance Commission, the opposition has abandoned the state. During this, slogans were also raised by the opposition who were angry with the comment on BJP. BJP members reached the well and raised slogans. Due to this the CM had to stop the budget speech. The Assembly Speaker kept asking the BJP members to sit on their seats, but the sloganeering continued.
