Announced price of maize at Rs 40 to Rs 50 per kg, Pangi barley at Rs 60 to Rs 80 and turmeric at Rs 90 to Rs 150 per kg. Apart from this, for the first time in the state, MSP for the purchase of ginger was implemented and Rs 30 per kg was announced.

CM Sukhu said that Himachal cannot be compared with Uttarakhand and Assam. It is not a revenue surplus state. Himachal is not getting proper help from the Centre. The previous government received Rs 47,000 crore as RDG and Rs 13,000 crore as GST reimbursement. If the previous government had repaid even 50 percent of the loan, there would not have been a debt trap situation today. Now useless institutions will have to be closed.
