Himachal News: Jairam Thakur attacks Sukhu government as soon as he returns from Delhi, ‘Economic situation is continuously worsening’

Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Met and discussed in detail the economic and political conditions of the state. After returning from Delhi, Jairam Thakur told the press that the state is currently going through a serious economic crisis and he put this issue before the Prime Minister. He also requested for cooperation from the Central Government, so that the financial condition of the state can be improved.

During this, Jairam Thakur made a scathing attack on the state Congress government and Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. He alleged that due to the policies of the Sukhu government, the economic condition of the state is continuously deteriorating. He said that development works are being affected and lack of financial management is clearly visible.

Responding to the allegations of stopping funds from the Center by going to Delhi, Jairam Thakur said that it was a privilege for him to meet the Prime Minister. He also said that if Chief Minister Sukhu asks for time to meet the Prime Minister, he will also get the opportunity. Targeting Congress leaders, he mentioned Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and alleged that they maintain distance from common people and workers when they come to Himachal.

Questions raised on the decision to implement dress code

Jairam Thakur also raised questions on the decision of Sukhu government to implement dress code. He asked what kind of clothes Rahul Gandhi himself wears when he goes to Parliament and Congress workers go naked in front of representatives from all over the world at the Delhi AI Summit. Apart from this, Jairam Thakur raised questions on keeping the co-in-charges of Congress in Shimla as state guests for more than a month.
