‘He is also Ravana, but his form has changed,’ Dhirendra Shastri angry over theft of offerings in Ram temple

After this, there is a lot of politics going on on this dispute. Meanwhile, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has commented. Regarding the people involved in this, he said, “He is also Ravana, his form has just changed. Ravana neither stole from Mata Janaki, but the devotion of lakhs of people in the donation box of Ram temple has been stolen.”

He further said emotionally, “The trust of crores of people has been stolen in this.” He further said, “News has been received that an FIR has been lodged in the matter. Now more investigation will be done and we will be caught. It is sure that we will be caught.”

He further said, “It can be said that Ravana had stolen Mata Janaki, the result of which was that he along with his family got destroyed. In such a situation, crores of people donated to Ram. The one who steals the donation of Ram temple will definitely get the government’s punishment, he will also get the great punishment from God. This is sure, no one can spare him.”

8 accused sent to judicial custody

All the eight accused arrested in the case of alleged embezzlement of donations offered by devotees in Ayodhya’s Ram temple were on Friday (June 26) sent to judicial custody till June 29. Meanwhile, the round of allegations and counter-allegations has intensified between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Uttar Pradesh and the opposition.

The investigator has claimed to have recovered Rs 79.85 lakh from the accused so far. Meanwhile, amid speculations about the resignation of Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) said that it has no information in this regard. Champat Rai is also the vice president of VHP.

Political turmoil continues on the matter

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said that no culprit who plays with people’s faith will be spared. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal termed the matter as a ‘religious war’ and appealed for social boycott of the alleged ‘donation thieves’ and said that this has hurt the sentiments of crores of Hindus.

Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP’s “Lanka scandal” has started from Ayodhya. Congress has demanded an investigation into the matter under the supervision of the Supreme Court and dissolution of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak rejected the allegations of the opposition and said that this entire controversy is part of the conspiracy of SP and Congress. This FIR was registered on the complaint of trust member Krishna Mohan. It was registered on the basis of the recommendations of the preliminary report of the three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government. The SIT was formed after allegations of alleged irregularities surfaced on June 7.
