Voting took place on 10 May
Voting was held on May 10 for the by-elections of Panchkula, Ambala, Sonipat Municipal Corporation, Rewari Municipal Council, Uklana, Sampla and Dharuhera Municipal Corporation and several ward members. A total of 54.8 percent voting took place in the state. This time there was five percent less voting than last time. Due to low turnout the equation of number of candidates has deteriorated.
