Wazirganj Police has got a big success in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Here, along with SOG and surveillance team, they have exposed the inter-district gang involved in stealing goats from Scorpio vehicle and arrested four thieves. Along with this, two Scorpio vehicles have also been recovered from the thieves. Apart from this, cash has also been recovered.
According to police officials, incidents of goat theft were suddenly coming to light from many places in the district recently. On which these thieves have been arrested by conducting a joint operation. The search is on for his remaining associates.
Incidents had increased continuously
ASP Radheshyam said that incidents of goat theft had come to light in various police station areas in the last few days. Police teams were formed to uncover incidents of goat theft. Continuous intensive checking campaign was carried out in the area by the formed teams, suspicious persons were monitored and intelligence information was effectively collected.
As a result of the active action of the police teams, an inter-district organized gang involved in goat theft was successfully exposed and 04 vicious criminals Rafiq son of Taufiq, Shakeel son of Abdul Khaliq, Shamsuddin son of Bhagole and Rahish son of Rashid were arrested from the road going from Durjanpur Ghat to Kodar. Six stolen goats, two Scorpio vehicles used in the incident and Rs 23,800 in cash were recovered from them.
Used to commit crimes in nearby districts also
During the interrogation of the arrested accused, it was revealed that they worked as an organized gang, which used to carry out incidents of theft in a planned manner by tracking the goats tied outside the houses at night in Gonda district and its surrounding districts. All of them have also accepted their crime. His remaining crimes are being investigated.
