New Delhi. After the embarrassing 61-run defeat against India in Colombo, former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has made a scathing attack on the team. While talking to News 18 Hindi, Kaneria said that while reacting to Pakistan bowing down to India in the T20 World Cup 2026, he wrote, Honestly speaking, boycott would have been less shameful. This statement of Kaneria has become a cause of embarrassment for Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga. The team has been the target of sharp criticism from former Pakistani players and experts. After the defeat, Pakistan team has faced severe criticism from many cricket veterans and experts apart from Kaneria. Shoaib Akhtar termed PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi useless and illiterate and said that when you give big responsibility to an incompetent person, then obviously he will destroy the organization. Former captain Shahid Afridi demanded to bench Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan.
