
Preparations for the new government in Bihar are now in the final stages. On one hand, the date of Nitish Kumar’s resignation (from the post of Chief Minister) has been fixed on Tuesday (April 14), while on the other hand, the new government is to be sworn in on Wednesday (April 15, 2026). Now when the new government is to be formed, the names of possible ministers have also started coming out.
There are many senior leaders from JDU quota who can be given a chance again in the new government. The names of leaders like Bijendra Yadav and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary are at the top in this list. Both of them are not only senior leaders of JDU but also one of the leaders close to Nitish Kumar. He is a minister in the present Nitish government.
Apart from these, Shravan Kumar can also become a minister. He is a minister in the present government. Apart from these names, the leaders who can again become ministers in the NDA government include the names of leaders like Ashok Choudhary, Lacey Singh, Madan Sahni, Jama Khan and Sunil Kumar.
Will Nitish Kumar’s son also take oath?
On the other hand, if the discussion is the loudest then it is about Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant. From the beginning, news has been coming out that he can be made the Deputy CM in the new government. Apart from him, a leader like Vijay Chaudhary will also be made Deputy CM. Amidst all the speculations, now the news is coming out that Nishant does not want to become Deputy CM. He does not want any ministerial post. They want to work for the organization.
It is being told that even though Nishant does not want it, senior JDU leaders are trying to convince him. Now it remains to be seen whether Nishant’s opinion changes when a new government is formed or whether he remains firm on his decision.
