
A heart-wrenching case came to light on Monday morning in Tundla area (Nagla Singhi area police station) of Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh. Here the body of a 35 year old youth was found hanging from a tree in the field. The deceased’s wife had eloped with her lover a few days ago, leaving him and his three children.
After the incident, the angry family members have made serious allegations against the wife’s lover for murdering her and hanging the body. The family members created a ruckus for several hours and did not allow the body to come down from the tree.

According to the information, Ravindra (35 years old), son of Bhikam Singh, resident of Garhi Dharmi, had left his village some time ago and was living in a house in Garhi Bhau and working in a bangle factory. On April 7 this month, his wife Gauri Langhi, a resident of Dhirpura, had eloped with her lover. She had left her three innocent children, Gagan (15 years), Sumit (10 years) and daughter Lata (7 years) with her husband. Ravindra was continuously searching for his wife since her disappearance.
There was a stir after seeing the dead body hanging, the family members created a huge ruckus
On Monday (April 13) morning, when the villagers went to the fields to defecate, they saw Ravindra’s body hanging from a tree. As soon as the news spread, the family members reached the spot and started creating ruckus. The family members’ direct allegation was that the wife’s lover had murdered Ravindra and had hung the body on a tree to mislead the police and make it look like a suicide. The angry villagers were adamant on demanding the arrest of the lover and calling the SSP to the spot.
Forces deployed from many police stations, forensic team investigated
The situation became tense when the family members did not allow the dead body to be removed, after which police forces from several nearby police stations had to be called to the spot. Nagla Singhi police station incharge Parul Mishra explained to the people for a long time and assured fair and strict action in the entire matter. After this, the forensic team was called to the spot and evidence was collected.
What do the officials say?
Tundla Circle Officer (CO) Arun Kumar Chaurasia said that after convincing the villagers and family members, the body of the youth was taken down from the tree and after filling the Panchnama, it was sent to the hospital for post-mortem. At present, the police has not received any written complaint from the family members. The police are waiting for the post mortem report. As soon as the complaint is received from the family members, a case (FIR) will be registered and further strict legal action will be taken.
