Supporters of ‘Farsa Wale Baba’ claim that Baba was trying to stop a truck loaded with cattle near Nabipur in the Kotwan border area when he was crushed by cow smugglers. As soon as information about the death was received, cow servants from UP and Haryana started reaching the spot. The crowd also reached in large numbers and tension spread. After a few hours of uproar, the police rejected all the claims and said that some anti-social people in the crowd tried to spoil the atmosphere.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Taking immediate cognizance of this matter, he has given instructions for an impartial investigation. The saints also reacted sharply. Devkinandan Thakur said that in a pilgrimage place like Mathura, acts like cow smuggling and cow slaughter are shameful. If the cow protectors came to know about it, then why doesn’t the police come to know about it? Is it a conspiracy or an accident? The government should conduct an honest and impartial investigation.

According to news agency PTI, District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh said that Farsa Wale Baba was stopping and investigating a container with Nagaland number along with his disciples at 4 am on Saturday at Haryana Border Police Station area Kosikalan on the information of presence of cow in the vehicle. That container was filled with soap, phenyl, shampoo etc. and during this time, due to dense fog, a truck with Rajasthan number hit the container from behind, due to which Baba died on the spot. He told that the truck driver was injured in this accident.

According to Mathura SSP Shlok Kumar, Farsa Baba had received information about cow smugglers during the night. Had set out to chase this. He said, “A vehicle was stopped on the basis of suspicion by Chandrashekhar alias Farsa Baba in Kosi police station area last night between 03:00-04:00 AM. During this time, due to dense fog, he unfortunately died after being hit by a truck coming from behind. The container which Baba had stopped was found to contain groceries and the truck coming from behind was found to be loaded with wires. This is a road accident, it has nothing to do with cow smuggling.

Along with this, Mathura Police has warned that “the news circulating on social media related to cow slaughter or cow progeny smuggling is completely misleading and untrue.” On the basis of the complaint received, a case of accident is being registered at Kosikalan police station. Mathura Police appeals to the public not to spread any factless rumor on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, otherwise strict legal action will be taken against those spreading misleading information.

The SSP said that the situation has been controlled by using necessary force against those creating law and order situation. Advance legal action is being taken.

Farsawale Baba used to do cow service in this ashram, whichever cow got injured or fell ill, he used to bring them and serve them. People say that last night also he had received information about cow smuggling, after which he left and died.
