On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 26.8 degrees and the minimum temperature was 17.6 degrees. The maximum humidity in Delhi was 100 percent and the minimum humidity was 62 percent. 8.2 mm rainfall occurred in the last 24 hours.

Orange alert issued for rain
At the same time, 0.8 mm rain was recorded till 8:30 pm on Thursday night. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of rain in entire Delhi till 11:30 pm. On the other hand, maximum mercury was recorded at 26.5 in Ridge, 26.8 in Lodhi Road, 25.2 in Aya Nagar and 25.3 in Palam.

Traffic was seen crawling
The game of hide and seek between the clouds and the sun continued throughout the day on Thursday. But, the weather has completely changed in the evening. Suddenly there was darkness with dark clouds and it rained with strong thunderstorms at many places, which provided relief to the people from the heat. Meteorological Department officials had already expressed such a possibility because there is continuous snowfall in the mountains. The reason for this change in weather is being attributed to western disturbance. Due to storm and rain, traffic was seen moving in different parts. Due to the strong storm, there was power failure in many areas of NCR.

Yellow rain alert issued on Friday also
According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance will be visible in Delhi on Friday also. In such a situation, the sky will generally be cloudy. Light rain or drizzle along with thunderstorms can be seen in the morning. During this period the wind speed is expected to be 20 to 30 kilometers per hour. Sometimes the wind speed can reach 40 km per hour. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain. The maximum temperature in Delhi on March 21 will be between 29-31 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be between 14-16 degrees Celsius. From March 22 to March 24, the maximum temperature is likely to be between 30-34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be between 15-18 degrees Celsius.
