
Delhi Police caught a vicious thief in a very unique way and exposed the incident of theft that took place in broad daylight. The special thing was that the police disguised itself as a fruit seller to catch the accused and solved the case within a few hours.
In fact, on the morning of April 28, a theft was reported in a house in South Patel Nagar area. According to the complainant, between 6 and 7 in the morning, some unknown person entered the house and stole gold and silver jewelery and cash from the locker. The stolen items included gold rings, bangles, chains, pendants, Silver Jewelery and about Rs 5-10 thousand in cash were included.

During investigation, police found a suspicious mobile phone from the spot. A call received on this phone played an important role in solving the entire case.
Police laid a trap by posing as fruit sellers
Delhi Police head constable Vikas, showing cunningness, pretended to be a fruit seller and called the accused on the pretext of returning the phone. As soon as the accused reached the spot and asked for a reward of Rs 500, the police caught him.

The arrested accused was identified as 23-year-old Kalam Nadaf, a resident of Darbhanga, Bihar. He was caught from Baljeet Nagar area.
Locker hidden in under construction building
During interrogation, the accused told that since the stolen locker was heavy, he had hidden it in a nearby building. The police recovered the locker from there at the behest of the accused. On opening the locker, jewelery worth about Rs 25 lakh was found, seeing which the complainant heaved a sigh of relief. Apart from this, cash and fake jewelery were also recovered from the accused.
Involved in many cases before
According to the police, the accused has been involved in many theft and criminal cases in the past and is a habitual criminal. At present, the police is further investigating the entire matter and is trying to find out what other crimes the accused has committed.
