
South District of Delhi Police has arrested a vicious thief and exposed a major theft incident. The accused has been identified as Nilesh alias Nikesh. Which is R.K. On February 14, 3.5 lakh rupees and gold and silver were stolen from home.
According to Delhi Police, on 14 February 2026, R.K. T. Sai, resident of Puram Sector-1, had gone to Rajasthan with his family to attend a wedding. When they returned, the house was locked, but about Rs 3.5 lakh in cash and gold was found inside.Silver Jewelery was found missing. After this, on the complaint of the victim, police station R.K. A case was registered in Puram and investigation was started. A police team was formed to solve the case.
Delhi Police got important information from CCTV
During the investigation by Delhi Police, CCTV footage of the area was scrutinized, in which a suspicious person was seen opening the lock of the house. At first he failed to open the gate, but later opened the lock with the help of the master key and entered inside and after about half an hour fled on the scooter with the stolen goods. On the basis of CCTV and technical investigation, the police identified Nilesh and called him for questioning.
After strict interrogation, he confessed to the theft.
Initially he declared himself innocent and said that at the time of the incident he was doing night duty in a five star hotel in Dwarka, where he works as a chef. However, the police thoroughly investigated his activities and bank transactions. After which, upon strict interrogation, he confessed to the theft.

The accused told Delhi Police that he used to use a special master key to open Chinese locks and after the theft, he used to close the lock again so that no one gets suspicious. On his information, the police recovered the stolen jewelery and scooter. According to the police, the accused had made two more attempts of theft in the same manner in Ambedkar Basti area. At present, further investigation of the case is going on.
