Due to this, the weather has become pleasant amidst the scorching heat. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued an urgent weather warning for several districts of Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan including Delhi-NCR. The department had predicted light to moderate rain with thunderstorms after the dust storm in Delhi and the entire NCR region.

The Meteorological Department said that during this period, strong and gusty winds can blow at a speed of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of lightning at many places. In view of the inclement weather, people have been advised to stay away from open spaces, trees and weak structures.

Many districts of Haryana including Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Jind, Panipat, Hisar, Rohtak, Sonipat, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Rewari, Mahendragarh, Palwal, Nuh and Narnaul have been included in the warning. At the same time, there is a possibility of sudden change in weather in Shamli, Kandhla, Baraut, Baghpat, Khekra, Nandgaon and Barsana areas of Uttar Pradesh.
Rain forecast in Rajasthan also
Apart from this, forecast of strong storm, thunder and rain has also been issued in many areas of Rajasthan including Alwar, Bharatpur, Deeg, Bayana, Jhunjhunu, Khairthal, Kotputli, Rajgarh and Mahandipur Balaji.

The Meteorological Department has appealed to the citizens to remain alert and come out of their homes only when necessary. The administration has also been instructed to remain alert in view of possible weather effects.
