Police has solved the massive robbery that took place in broad daylight in Delhi. The joint team of Sarai Rohilla police station and North District Special Staff of Delhi Police has arrested 7 dangerous criminals in this case. The surprising thing was that the employee of the company from which the money was looted turned out to be the mastermind of this entire conspiracy.
Miscreants looted 60 lakh cash from employee
According to Delhi Police, the incident occurred on January 7, 2026. Sandeep Swami, an employee of the firm, was going to the office in Karol Bagh with his partner Shiva from Rohini Sector-8 with 60 lakh cash. As soon as they reached near Subhadra Colony. Two miscreants riding a bike stopped them, looted all the cash at gunpoint and ran away.
Delhi Police scanned more than 100 CCTV footage
Seeing the seriousness of the case, Delhi Police examined the footage of more than 100 CCTV cameras, interrogated dozens of suspects and analyzed mobile call details. During investigation, suspicion fell on Sandeep’s partner Shiva. During strict interrogation by Delhi Police, he confessed that he had given complete information to his criminal associates about taking the cash. After which a robbery plan was made.
Delhi Police arrested seven accused
Delhi Police arrested all the 7 accused one by one. Rs 28.12 lakh in cash, the car and scooter used in the crime and the clothes worn at the time of the incident have been recovered from their possession. During interrogation it also came to light that the accused were preparing for another big robbery worth about Rs 2 crore in Karol Bagh area. But the police caught them in time and foiled the conspiracy. All the arrested accused are old and vicious criminals, against whom many cases of robbery, attempt to murder, Arms Act and other serious cases are already registered. Further investigation of the case is going on and the rest of the gang’s network is also being investigated.
