Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, ‘Today the government has completed one year. Perhaps it was at this time that we reached this secretariat. Today’s report card is the facts of our year. This government is not a government of promises but of work. We have tried to bring Delhi towards stagnation in one year. We followed the pattern of less paper and more work. We worked on Ayushman scheme in our first cabinet. We gave health cover of Rs 10 lakh. We started Atal Canteen with the vision so that no one sleeps hungry. 70 Atal canteens have been started in Delhi.
CM said, ‘In the last cabinet meeting, we implemented the Ayushman scheme. In this one year, 7 lakh people were registered for health cover and more than 30,000 people received benefits through Ayushman and Vaya Vandana Yojana. Today, 70 Atal canteens are operating in Delhi, where full meals are being provided to the poor, workers and laborers in a respectable manner at just Rs 5. We have set a budget of Rs 700 crore for the slum dwellers, so that basic facilities like drains, drains, parks, toilets etc. can be provided in the slums.
