
There was a stir in the Welcome area of Delhi on Thursday evening when a sensational incident of the dead body of a young man being found near a tomb in Lake Park came to light. When the police reached the spot and started investigation, it turned out to be a case of murder.
After this incident, an atmosphere of panic was created in the entire area. However, the police showed promptness and solved this murder mystery within a few hours and arrested three suspected accused.
The dead body of a 21 year old youth was lying near the tomb.
According to the information received from the police officer, at around 6:45 pm on Thursday evening, the police control room had received information that a dead body was lying near the lake park. As soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the spot. The deceased was identified as Mohammed Shamim (21 years), who was a resident of Ladki Market area of Welcome.
Forensic team collected important evidence, special team formed
Considering the seriousness of the incident, a forensic team was called to the spot, from where many important evidences were collected. After this, the body was taken into custody and sent to GTB Hospital for post-mortem.
To quickly reveal the matter, a special team was formed under the supervision of ACP Bhajanpura Sahdev Kumar Rana and the leadership of SHO Rupesh Khatri. This team included Inspector Gyanendra Singh, SI Dhirendra, ASI Rambir, HC Harendra, Kuldeep, Lalit, Sandeep and constables Vinod and Gaurav. The team gathered information from informers and different sources and took three suspects into custody.
Secret revealed during interrogation
During strict police interrogation, all three accused confessed to their crime. He gave the shocking reason for the murder. The accused told the police that the deceased Shamim alias Sui used to often harass them and threaten them every now and then. Fed up with his daily threats, they attacked him fatally and fled from the spot after killing him.
At present, the police is interrogating the accused further and is actively searching for the weapon used in the crime.
