Punjab Kings won their second consecutive IPL 2026 match by defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by five wickets. At the same time, CSK lost for the second consecutive match. Chennai, after losing the toss and opting to bat first in the match played in Chepauk on Friday, scored 209 runs for five wickets in 20 overs with the help of strong innings of Ayush Mhatre (73) and Shivam Dubey (45*). In reply, Punjab won the match by scoring 210 runs for five wickets in 18.4 overs.
