A strange and surprising incident came to light during the visit of Maharashtra Minister Chhagan Bhujbal. The pilot of his helicopter made a big mistake, due to which he landed the chopper directly in the car parking area instead of landing on the designated helipad.
Fortunately, there was no accident during this period, but the police and administration present at the spot were shocked to see the helicopter suddenly landing in the parking lot.
Minister had come to attend Mahatma Phule Jayanti program
According to the information, Minister Chhagan Bhujbal was coming to Khanwadi village located in Purandar taluka of Pune district. He had come here to attend a special program organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. To participate in this program, Bhujbal’s helicopter had reached the sky of Khanwadi village.
Pilot got confused after seeing empty space
A helipad was specially prepared by the administration at a separate place for the safe landing of the minister’s helicopter. But, when the helicopter was coming down, the pilot saw a big empty space in the car parking area. The pilot misunderstood that this was the helipad meant for landing. Due to this confusion, he landed the helicopter directly in the car parking area.
The mistake was corrected after being informed by the police.
Due to the sudden landing of the helicopter in the parking lot, there was an atmosphere of chaos for some time. The policemen deployed on the spot immediately ran there and informed the pilot about his big mistake. After being told the exact location by the police, the helicopter was removed from that parking area and taken to a safe place. There was a lot of discussion about this incident in the area throughout the day.
