
Amidst the ongoing Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a tough stand against the unruly elements and has given a clear message that any kind of tampering with law and order will not be tolerated. Strict legal action will be ensured against anyone who tries to take the law into his own hands.
CM said, the state government is making efforts at every level for the convenience and safety of the passengers. Police, administration and disaster management teams are continuously deployed on the yatra routes, so that any untoward incident can be dealt with immediately. Despite this, if any person tries to spoil the atmosphere or spread anarchy, he will not be spared under any circumstances.
Culture, religious and peaceful environment in Uttarakhand
Chief Minister Dhami said, Uttarakhand is a peace-loving and inclusive state, where every religion and faith is respected. He said that along with Chardham Yatra, many important religious pilgrimages including Hemkund Sahib, Adi Kailash are being conducted in the state, in which a large number of devotees are coming from India and abroad. In such a situation, the government’s priority is to ensure that all passengers get a safe, smooth and organized travel experience.
CM Dhami also mentioned that Uttarakhand is identified by its culture, religious faith and peaceful environment, which is the responsibility of all of us to maintain. He also appealed to the travelers and local people to follow the rules and cooperate with the administration, so that the yatra can be completed successfully without any hindrance.
CM Dhami gave guidelines to the officials
The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to maintain vigilance during the yatra and take immediate action on any suspicious activity. He said that maintaining strong law and order is the top priority of the government and any negligence in this will not be tolerated.
In the end, the Chief Minister made it clear that the government is fully prepared to make the Chardham Yatra peaceful and safe. He warned that the strictest action will be taken against those who spread indiscipline and anarchy, so that the image of the state and the safety of passengers are not affected.
