The battle cry for Youth Congress elections has started in Rajasthan and the nomination process has also started from today. Youth Congress State Executive elections are going to be held, in which elections will be held on many posts including the State President. This election is largely divided among different factions of Congress. This time, this election seems to be an election of Congress leaders to fight for their supremacy within the party. Although no faction of Congress has come forward openly, work has started internally on the election strategy.
In this election, two names are being discussed from the Pilot camp.
In the last several Youth Congress elections, the Pilot faction has dominated. In such a situation, the Pilot group would once again want to make a leader from its camp the state president in this election. But this time there are visible divisions in the Pilot group too, which includes some MLAs and leaders. In this election, no consensus has been reached yet on who should be fielded from the Pilot group for the post of State President. The reason behind this is political dominance and mutual discord.
Two names are being discussed from the Sachin Pilot camp, which include Congress MP candidate Anil Chopra and Youth Congress Sikar District President Mukul Khedad.
Internal equations are being seen regarding these two names, regarding which some leaders of the Pilot group also held a secret meeting yesterday. If sources related to Youth Congress are to be believed, the Pilot camp does not want to give the benefit of its internal resentment to the other camp and that is why the round of persuasion and talks is going on.
Dotasara Group also active in elections, but candidate not selected yet
On the other hand, Dotasara Group is also active in this election, but here too the candidate has not been selected yet. Out of these, three people have expressed their desire to contest the elections, which includes Congress Assembly candidate Abhishek Chaudhary, Youth Congress working president Yashveer Sura and Sudheendra Mund.
Informed sources said that if Anil Chopra contests from the Pilot group, then Abhishek Chaudhary will contest the elections in front of him, because both of them had contested the Rajasthan University elections in 2014, in which Anil Chopra had won the elections. Now through this election, Abhishek Chaudhary would like to take revenge for his old defeat.
The two main characters of this election, Ashok Chandna and Mukesh Bhakar, have not yet come forward openly in this election. Whereas Mukesh Bhakar in the Pilot group and Ashok Chandna in the Dotasara group are considered to be the strategists of this election, but now it has to be seen which camp will hold the chair of Youth Congress State President in this election.
