Criminal incidents are not stopping in the metropolis. At around 10 pm on Saturday night, an unknown bike rider opened fire outside a famous IVF center located in Mota Singh Nagar, a posh area of ​​the city. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident, but panic spread in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, a young man wearing a helmet came on a bike and fired 2-3 bullets and ran away. As soon as the information was received, police officers reached the spot and started investigation. The footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized.

It is being told that the IVF center outside where the firing took place is also the residence of the hospital operator doctor. However, according to the police, the doctor had not received any ransom call or threatening message before.

DCP Manpreet Singh Dhillon said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused was alone and fled away after committing the crime. Police are investigating the case from various angles and have claimed to identify and arrest the accused soon.

It is noteworthy that 24 hours before this, about 10 bullets were fired outside the house of a doctor in Santokpura area also. Such incidents happening continuously have raised questions on the law and order of the city.

Police say that the link between the two incidents is also being investigated. Patrolling has been increased in the area.
