Bengal Police has taken two suspects from Buxar, Bihar in the murder case of Chandranath Rath, PA of West Bengal Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari. The name of one of the two is Vicky Maurya and the name of the other is Mayank Mishra. Vicky Maurya’s father Gautam Kumar told on Monday (May 11, 2026) what happened.
According to Gautam Kumar, the police suddenly reached his house and started searching for his son Vicky. He told that the police searched the entire house. After this she took all the mobile phones present in the house with her. The family members say that they have not yet been told what charges their son is facing and in which case he has been arrested.

Gautam Kumar said that his son earlier worked in Mumbai. Recently he had talked about working in another company. Before leaving the house, he had taken two thousand rupees from them and said that he would send the location after reaching the new place.
Family claims- Vicky has no criminal history
The father said that Vicky had left the house at around 12 noon on the 7th, after which now information is being received through other people that he has been arrested by the Bengal Police. On the other hand, the family claims that Vicky has no criminal history.
At present, Bengal Police is investigating the entire matter. After the action taken in Buxar, various types of discussions are taking place at the local level, while the family says that they do not know much about it. Now it has to be seen what connection Vicky Maurya has with this case after investigation.
