National Conference (NC) MLAs will go to Delhi before the monsoon session of Parliament and protest outside Parliament on the first day of the session. They will put pressure on the Central Government to reinstate statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and demand constitutional guarantees for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
NC MLAs’ meeting lasted for seven hours
This decision was taken during a long meeting of NC MLAs that lasted for seven hours. The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in which MLAs from NC and allies as well as National Conference MPs also participated.
