Police has disclosed the case of dead body found in a box in Kamal Nagar located in Nishatpura area of the capital Bhopal. Police have claimed to solve the murder mystery within 24 hours. Police said that a girl named Misbah was murdered on the intervening night of 7-8 February, the body was dumped in a water tank on 8 February. The police has arrested the murder accused Sameer.
According to the police, the arrested accused Sameer lives in the Housing Board quarters located in Kamal Nagar. Accused Sameer himself has murdered the girl. After the murder, the accused kept the body at home for 8-10 hours. The girl was murdered by strangulation, in which the family members of the accused also helped in disposing of the body by keeping it in a box.

The accused’s mother, sister and brother were also involved in the incident. Apart from the main accused Sameer, the police have also arrested three other co-accused. During interrogation, Sameer told that both of them became friends through online dating app. The girl was living at Sameer’s house for about 3-4 months. Sameer had brought the girl home calling her a friend, before this Sameer had kept the girl in hotels and at different places.

Due to the girl’s entry into the house, Sameer started fighting with his wife. After coming to the girl’s house, Sameer’s wife had gone to her parents’ home in Jabalpur in anger. Sameer’s wife had left him after his first marriage. Presently Sameer was living with his second wife in Kamal Nagar, and Misbah had come to live with him as Sameer’s girlfriend.
Sameer’s girlfriend wanted to marry him!
It is being told that the girl wanted to marry Sameer, but Sameer refused to marry, after which, seeing the dispute increasing in the house, Sameer killed the girl. The girl’s name is Misbah who is a resident of Gondia, Maharashtra. The case was revealed through informant system, technical evidence and intensive investigation at the local level. The age of the deceased girl is 22 years. On the basis of suspicion, Sameer was taken into custody and interrogated, during interrogation the accused Sameer confessed to the crime.
The accused wanted to get rid of his girlfriend!
The deceased girl was living with the accused in the house of the accused at Kamal Nagar in Bhopal since October 2025. There was a dispute going on between the accused and the deceased for some time. The accused did not want to keep the deceased with him and wanted to get rid of her. On which the deceased used to demand money to separate from the accused. On the intervening night of 7-8 February, when the fight escalated due to this dispute, he strangled his girlfriend to death. Informed his brother, mother and sister present at home at the time of the incident about the incident.
The dead body was disposed of by throwing it in a septic tank!
The accused and his relatives admitted that they kept the body of the deceased girl Misbah in an iron box and hid it in the house for a day and the next day they searched for a place to dispose of the body and with the help of their mother, sister and brother, admitted that they threw the body along with the box in a nearby septic tank at night. The iron box in which the dead body was kept was confiscated. Police are currently interrogating all the accused to gather more information.
