
In Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, the situation became tense when a board with the names of donors was put up in a temple built on donated land. This matter has come to light from Barso village of Sewar police station area, where there was a dispute going on between the people of two villages regarding putting a board with the names of donors on the temple built on donated land.
It was told that on Saturday, February 28, people from one village came and put a board with the name of their village on the temple, but people from another village opposed it. On receiving information about the uproar, the local police team reached the spot, seeing the situation of dispute, the police started lathicharge to disperse the people. Police have been deployed to maintain peace in the village.
Controversy broke out over installing boards in the temple
According to the information, a temple has been constructed in village Barso of Sewar police station area. The people of the neighboring village Ghasola, claiming the temple as their land, put up a board with their name Bhamashah on it. Due to which the people of the village protested against the board installed by the people of Ghasola village for years. Police arrived on information about the uproar and chased people away from the spot with batons.
Board will be installed in the temple with the consent of both the parties
Rural Area Officer (CO) Kanhaiya Lal says that people from both the villages worship in the temple. Today, people from both the sides had gathered at the temple regarding the installation of boards, which have been sent back after consultation. He has clarified that the board will be installed in the temple with the consent of both the parties. At present there is tension between the people of both the villages regarding establishing their rights on the temple land. The police is investigating the matter.
