In this horrific accident, a young man present inside the car was burnt alive and turned into a skeleton. Police suspect that it was a suicidal move and the youth had used some explosive inside the car. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Nagendra. Initial investigation has revealed that Nagendra had booked a car from Siddhapura area of Jayanagar, Bangalore. It is alleged that he forcibly made a woman named Ramya sit in the car and kidnapped her. When the car reached near Kallambela police station in Sira taluk of Tumakuru district, an altercation broke out inside the car.
Nagendra suddenly took out a knife and attacked Ramya on the head. Ramya, bleeding, mustered up courage and tried to get out of the moving car. Seeing the woman in danger, the car driver also immediately stopped the car and jumped out to save her. At that very moment there was a massive explosion inside the car and the entire vehicle was engulfed in flames.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Tumkuru District Superintendent of Police Ashok K.V. Reached the spot with the police team. SP Ashok K.V. Told that when the police reached there, the car was burning. The driver and the victim woman Ramya were found injured outside the car.
SP Ashok said that the car driver and the woman have told during preliminary interrogation that Nagendra had used some explosive inside, which immediately caused the blast. Forensic team has been called to the spot. Only after the report comes, it will be clear which chemical or bomb caused the blast.
