An Army Brigadier and his son were attacked by miscreants in Vasant Enclave located in Vasant Vihar in the capital Delhi. It is alleged that when the Brigadier protested against two youths who were drinking alcohol while sitting in a luxury car outside the house, the accused along with 8-10 people beat him up. It is claimed that at the time of the incident, instead of stopping the miscreants, the police stood as a mute spectator. It is alleged that the police registered the FIR two days after the incident. At the same time, due to negligence, the investigating officer has put the police station in charge. Confirming the incident, South West District Police Deputy Commissioner Amit Goyal said that the search for the accused is going on.

According to the information, on April 11 at around 10 pm, Brigadier Parminder Singh Arora was walking outside the house with his son Tejas and wife Natasha. Then his eyes fell on two youths sitting in a Mercedes car. Both the youths were drinking alcohol openly. When he protested against this, the young man felt bad. Within a short time the matter escalated so much that the accused called their associates.

After some time, 7-8 other youths reached the spot with several vehicles and as soon as they arrived, they attacked the Brigadier’s son. When the Brigadier intervened after seeing his son being beaten, the accused also had a scuffle with him. Defense expert Ashok Bijlwan raised this matter on social media platform X. He also shared some photos related to the incident and the car number of the accused.

The police remained a mute spectator while the miscreants beat up.

Brigadier’s wife Natasha has made serious allegations against the police. According to Natasha, during the fight, a call was made to number 112, after which the PCR vehicle reached the spot. It is alleged that the policemen did not try to stop the attackers. Neither provided immediate relief to the victims. The entire incident happened in front of the PCR and the police remained a mute spectator.

The wife remained sitting in the police station for a long time

After the incident, the injured Brigadier and his son reached Vasant Vihar police station, but there too they faced disappointment. Since the son was seriously injured, the Brigadier took him to the Army Hospital. During that time his wife remained sitting in the police station with the complaint. After sitting for a long time, the victim lodged a complaint and returned home with her family. At the same time, two days after the incident, the police came into action after the video of the incident went viral on social media. According to a senior police officer, the police have registered a case on the basis of the statement of the victim Natasha.
