As the festival of Holi approaches, the fares of private buses have also started touching the sky. The bus operator is bent on arbitrariness. Instead of Rs 250, they are charging Rs 400 to Rs 500. While usually the sleeper bus fare from Pari Chowk to Kanpur, Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Ayodhya is available for Rs 700 to Rs 900, on March 28 and March 2 the fare was Rs 3600 to Rs 4000.
