At the same time, two young officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have set a new example of simplicity. 2023 batch IAS officers Madhav Bhardwaj and Aditi Varshney got married without any frills at the Mini Secretariat in Alwar on Wednesday.

Marriage registration done before the collector

Madhav Bhardwaj, posted as Sub Divisional Officer (SDM) in Alwar and Aditi Varshney, SDM in Jamnagar, Gujarat, got their marriage registered before District Collector Artika Shukla. During this period there was neither a band nor any show off. Only their parents and siblings were present at the ceremony.

The journey started during training

Madhav, a resident of Mussoorie, and Aditi, a resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, met during IAS training. The friendship of these toppers, who got success in the first attempt, gradually turned into love and both of them decided to live together with the consent of the family.

The couple told that soon after seeing the auspicious time, they will take rounds of the temple as per Hindu customs, but that program will also be completely private and quiet. Madhav and Aditi believe that a sacred bond like marriage does not require ostentation, but mutual respect and simplicity.
