Now action has been taken against the issue of giving milk mixed with water to children in the primary school of Mahoba. On the instructions of the District Magistrate, the District Basic Education Officer, taking major action, has suspended the accused Principal Monica Soni with immediate effect. The joint team of SDM and BSA reached the school and started a departmental investigation into the matter. The officials have talked to the parents and assured them of nutrition along with higher education.
Actually, the whole matter pertains to the government primary school of Dhikwaha village, where a large amount of water was being mixed in the milk given to children. In the video viral on social media, the cook is seen fearlessly adding water to the milk brought for the children. The shocking thing is that the headmistress of the school, Monica Soni, was standing nearby and it was in her presence that the children’s health was being played with.
‘A team of officials inspected the school’
In the preliminary investigation of the M Block Education Officer in this matter, it became clear that all this was happening with the knowledge of the headmistress. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the District Magistrate immediately issued strict instructions. A joint team of District Basic Education Officer Rahul Mishra and Sadar SDM conducted a surprise inspection of the school. During this, the team talked in detail to the children and their parents.
Headmistress suspended, role of cook being investigated
BSA Rahul Mishra described this matter as extremely sensitive and serious and said that any kind of compromise with the nutrition and education of children will not be tolerated. Principal Monica Soni has been suspended in this matter. Besides, the role of the cook is also being investigated. The administration has made it clear that higher education and better nutrition will now be closely monitored to ensure that such a situation does not recur in the future.
