A bus of passengers returning from Chardham Yatra on Badrinath Highway overturned on the highway in Shivpuri area under Munikireti police station on Sunday evening. The accident occurred near Kalthri dumping point near Shivpuri. There were 25 passengers, driver and conductor in the bus, including the driver and conductor. Seven passengers were injured in the accident. Others are safe.

According to the police, the bus (UK14PA0605) was going from Badrinath to Haridwar. The driver’s side window opened while moving. While closing it, the bus went out of control and overturned on the road. Seven people were injured in the accident. He was sent to the Government Hospital Rishikesh by 108 ambulance.
