Will America take control over Hormuz?: Trump in big preparation amid conflict, understand how Iran’s problems have increased – West Asia Conflict Us Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent States Will Soon Control Over The Strait Of Hormuz

Amidst the conflict that has been going on in West Asia for more than a month, a major strategy of US President Donald Trump has now come to light. Amidst the ongoing attacks, the Trump administration is now preparing to take back control over the Gulf of Hormuz. This information was given by US Finance Minister Scott Besant. In an interview with Fox News, Besant said that soon America will have control over the Strait of Hormuz either through American ships or joint ships of many countries.

Besant further said that at present some countries are making their ships cross the strait by making agreements with Iran. But with time America will completely control it and ensure freedom of passage of ships there safely. In his statement, he emphasized that the oil supply in the market is good and many ships are passing through the strait daily. But eventually the US will re-establish control over this route.

Global concerns regarding Hormuz

This statement of Besant has come at a time when global concern regarding the Strait of Hormuz has reached sky high due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia. The reason for this is that Hormuz is an important route for the world’s oil flow and it is very important for approximately one fifth of the world’s oil. In such a situation, this plan of US President Donald Trump can have a massive impact on the global maritime and oil markets.

Rubio said- destroying Iran’s navy and missile launchers

On the other hand, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told ABC News that the US has caused significant damage to Iran’s navy and defense industry. He said that President Trump will not allow Iran to occupy the Gulf forever and America will achieve its objectives within a few weeks. Rubio said that we are destroying Iran’s navy and missile launchers and also weakening their defense industry, so that they cannot make new missiles or drones in the future.

Rubio upset over Iran’s threats

Rubio also warned against Iran’s threats over control of the Gulf. Rubio said that President Trump has many options and if Iran tries to take over the Gulf, the US will take action to stop it. However, Iran has rejected American claims. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bagahei said that America’s talks and diplomacy are not credible. He said that America has been changing its position repeatedly, while Iran has always adopted a clear stand.

Iran distanced itself from Pakistan’s talks meeting

Iran did not even participate in the recent four-nation meeting organized by Pakistan’s Shahibaz Sharif. Amidst these incidents, President Trump said on social media that there has been positive progress in indirect talks between America and Iran. But he warned that if no agreement was reached soon and the Strait of Hormuz was not opened, the US would destroy Iran’s power plants, oil wells and Kharg Island.

It is noteworthy that these incidents of rhetoric and threats have come to light at a time when the conflict between America, Israel and Iran has now entered its second month and the security situation in the Gulf region is continuously deteriorating. America’s objective is to ensure safe transit of ships in the Gulf and weaken Iran’s grip.
