Mushfiqur Rahim had been returning from Umrah pilgrimage. Air India has canceled all its flights to and from the Gulf region. Air India said in a statement issued on ‘X’ that flights mainly to Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Muscat, Riyadh and Tel Aviv (Israel) have been cancelled. Rahim has retired from ODI and T20 international cricket. He has scored 7,795 runs in 274 ODI matches, which includes nine centuries and 49 half-centuries.
