Uttarakhand News: Preparations for Amit Shah’s visit intensified in Haridwar, CM Dhami himself reached Bairagi camp and took stock.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday (3 March) met the Union Home Minister on 7 March. Amit Shah Conducted on-site inspection regarding the proposed Haridwar tour. Where the preparations have reached the final stage. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself reached Bairagi camp ground and took stock of the venue.

During this, senior officials of administration and police including BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt were also present. The Chief Minister took detailed stock of the stage, security arrangements and the exhibition venue and gave necessary directions to the officials.

Exhibition organized on three new criminal laws of Central Government

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that a special exhibition will be organized here on the works of the last four years of the double engine government and the three new criminal laws of the central government. Besides, cooperative and development works will also be presented to the public through exhibitions. He said that this program will be an opportunity to convey the government’s achievements and development vision to the people.

Outline will also be laid for the upcoming assembly elections

Talking to the media after the on-site inspection, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the program of March 7 is going to be a big public event, in which workers, officials and representatives of religious organizations from Haridwar as well as entire Uttarakhand will participate. At the same time, representation of all the assembly constituencies is being ensured, in which huge enthusiasm has been seen among the people regarding the program.

In this program an outline regarding the upcoming assembly elections will also be laid. The Chief Minister clarified that the elections will be held as per the scheduled time, but it is the responsibility of the government to present its work before the public and also to inform the public about its future plans.

Regarding the ongoing situation in Iran, Chief Minister Dhami also said that efforts are being made to bring back the people of Uttarakhand stranded there safely. The state government is also contacting the External Affairs Ministry and the Prime Minister’s Office.
