
The Parade Ground of Dehradun, Uttarakhand witnessed a large public gathering on Monday. On completion of four years of Pushkar Singh Dhami government, ‘People’s Government – Four Saal Bemisal’ program was organized. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 74 development schemes worth Rs 401 crore 86 lakh. Before this, he conducted a road show from Kanak Chowk to the Parade Ground and also visited the exhibitions of various departments.
Speaking from the stage, Chief Minister Dhami said that while taking oath at this very ground four years ago, he had pledged to restore the glory of Devbhoomi. Today he can say with pride that that resolution is on its way to rapid completion. he prime minister Narendra Modi Also reiterated the statement which was made from the land of Kedarnath in 2021. ‘The third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand.’ CM said that his government is working day and night to implement this resolution.
Four years of accounting in figures
While presenting the government’s progress report, CM Dhami said that the state’s economy has grown more than one and a half times in the last four years. In the last one year, GSDP has increased by 7.23 percent and per capita income has increased by 41 percent. More than 20 thousand new industries have been established in the state. The number of startups has increased from just 700 to 1750. Investment proposals worth Rs 3 lakh 76 thousand crore were received in the Global Investment Summit, out of which investment of more than Rs 1 lakh crore has already materialized.
More than 2 lakh 65 thousand women have become Lakhpati Didi and an increase of 44 percent has been recorded in reverse migration. That means people who left the mountains are returning.
jobs for youth, Jail to copy mafia
The Chief Minister said that earlier the dreams of hardworking children were shattered due to paper leaks and copying. The government curbed this by bringing in strict anti-copying laws. Result- In four and a half years, more than 30 thousand youth got government jobs and more than 100 copying mafias are in jail today.
Center also got seal of approval
CM said that Uttarakhand has got the first position in the country in the Sustainable Development Goals Index 2023-24 of NITI Aayog. Got the category of achievers in ease of doing business and leaders in startup ranking. The Central Government has also given an award of Rs 200 crore for mining reforms, giving the state second place in the country. Apart from this, Uttarakhand has remained the country’s ‘Most Film Friendly State’ for four consecutive years.
401 worth crores 74 Projects- who what did you get
In this program, 41 schemes worth Rs 302 crore 42 lakh were inaugurated and the foundation stone of 33 schemes worth Rs 99 crore 44 lakh was laid. The biggest project inaugurated was the construction of sewer treatment plant in Sapera Basti under Namami Gange, which cost about Rs 79 crore. Laying of sewer lines, drainage improvement and flood protection works in many areas of Dehradun city are also included in this. Renovation work of mountain canals in Chakrata, Kalsi and Vikasnagar areas was also completed.
On the education front, new buildings were completed in seven government inter colleges including Majrigrant, Guniyalgaon, Barwala, Gwasapul, Positilani, Lakhwad and Koti Colony. A 100-bed mental health institute was also inaugurated in Selaqui. Major projects laid for foundation stone include road widening from Nagal Jwalapur to Doiwala, strengthening of drinking water scheme in Rajpur Road and renovation of canals in many assembly constituencies.
Claim to save the identity of Devbhoomi
The CM said that the government implemented Uniform Civil Code, brought anti-conversion and anti-riot laws and returned more than 12 thousand acres of government land. Government board curriculum will be implemented in all madrassas from July. Cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior officials were present in large numbers in the programme.
