Iran has reacted strongly to US President Donald Trump’s talks claims. The speaker of Iran’s parliament has clearly said that there has been no negotiation with America and efforts are being made to influence the oil and financial markets through fake news. After this statement, the rhetoric between the two countries has further intensified.
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that America and Israel are spreading false news to get out of the current situation. He said that Iran has not held any kind of talks with America. Earlier, Trump had claimed that talks had taken place between the two countries and consensus had been reached on many issues.
Did talks really take place between America and Iran?
Iran’s Foreign Ministry has also made it clear that no talks have taken place with America. Spokesman Ismail Baghai said Tehran’s stance remains the same and there has been no change. He told that there were definitely indications of talks from America through some friendly countries, but Iran did not hold any formal talks on this.
