UP Holiday List 2025: The government of Uttar Pradesh has announced public holidays falling in the year 2025. According to the calendar released by the government, most of the holidays this year are going to be on working days. In these, all the holidays including Holi, Eid, Ram Navami, Diwali, Janmashtami, Christmas Day are mentioned. This time there will be a total of 24 public and 31 restricted holidays in the year.

In the order issued by the government, it has been said that if any festival, festival, national festival or birth date of great men falls on the same day, then in such a situation only one day will be holiday. Two days holiday will not be declared in lieu of that. In the list of holidays released by the UP government, a holiday has been declared on the occasion of Hazrat Ali’s birthday on Tuesday, January 14. Whereas there will be a holiday on 26th January on Republic Day.

Next year, there will be a holiday for Dussehra on 1st October, Gandhi Jayanti and Vijayadashami on 2nd October. There will be a holiday for Diwali on 20th October, Govardhan Puja on 22nd October, Bhaiya Dooj on 23rd October, Guru Nanak Jayanti on 5th November and Christmas Day on 25th December.
