In Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh, the revenue team was attacked by the villagers, this case has come up from Kutukpur Wajidpur village of Sadar Tehsil area. Villagers attacked the revenue team of Sadar Tehsil who went to measure the land of Gram Panchayat. A mob of villagers attacked the revenue team when the officials were returning after measuring. In the attack, the glass of the train of Tehsildar Ravish Kumar of Sadar Tehsil was damaged.

Sadar Tehsildar Ravish Kumar said that a complaint of occupation of government land was received during police station day. In order to dispose of the complaint of occupying government land by the bullies, the revenue department team in the village Qutubpur Wajidpur of the police station area went to the village to measure the road and drain on a government land under his leadership.

People protested during the measurement

He said that during the measurement, some people had protested earlier but later the protest became calm. The revenue department team was leaving the village. Meanwhile, about 15-20 villagers, along with women, started throwing stones at the revenue team. In this attack, the glass of Tehsildar Ravish Kumar’s car was damaged. The revenue department team somehow came out of the village after saving his life. The revenue department team informed the police station line to the police.

Police detained 5 people

After the information of the incident, a large number of police forces reached the spot. The police have detained four women and a young man. Additional Superintendent of Police of Firozabad Nagar Ravi Shankar Prasad said that police force has been deployed in the village after a dispute in Qutubpur Wajidpur in the area across the police station.

The absconding accused started

Police officials also informed that on the basis of Tahrir received by the Revenue Department, the police has registered a case against 21 nominated and 10 unidentified people in relevant sections. In search of the accused, the police have started raiding.
