
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reviewed the law and order and administrative preparations in view of the upcoming festivals, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination and other important events. After knowing the availability of petrol and diesel in the context of recent global circumstances, he said that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel anywhere in the state. Supply and delivery is normal. Told the officials that no kind of panic or artificial crisis should be created anywhere.
The CM directed the officials of the Food and Logistics Department to ensure that the general public does not face any kind of inconvenience. Officers should go to the field and keep inspecting. Hoarding and black marketing should be strictly monitored. If any irregularity is found, strict action should be taken against the culprits.
While reviewing the preparations for Chaitra Navratri, he said that a large number of devotees will come to the major Shaktipeeths including Devipatan Temple (Balrampur), Shakumbhari Devi (Saharanpur), Maa Vindhyavasini Dham (Mirzapur), Lalita Devi (Sitapur). On the occasion of Shri Ram Navami on March 27 in Ayodhya, proper arrangements should be made for security of devotees, easy darshan, drinking water, cleanliness and crowd management. Police should implement action plan for crowd management and foot patrolling. President Draupadi Murmu is proposed to visit Ayodhya and Mathura on March 19. All protocol arrangements should be made on time. All Divisional Commissioners, DM, ADG (Zone), Police Commissioner, IG (Range), SP and senior government level officials were present in the meeting.
Time sensitive till 21st March
CM said that after the goodbye prayers on March 13, there is a written examination for Sub-Inspector and equivalent posts on March 14-15. There is a possibility of celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on March 20-21. This period is extremely sensitive from law and order point of view, hence complete caution should be taken. No new tradition of any kind should be allowed to be started. A policy of zero tolerance towards anti-social or anti-national activities should be adopted.
Make sure you have proper arrangements for the exam
While giving instructions to take special vigilance regarding SI recruitment examination, he said that effective traffic management should be ensured in view of the possibility of candidates coming from other districts. The purity and confidentiality of the examination cannot be compromised in any way. The intelligence system remained fully active and alert.
