Yogi government has transferred 46 IAS officers late on Thursday night. Major changes have been made in the responsibilities of officers at higher levels. The charge of Home has been taken back from Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar and once again given to Principal Secretary Sanjay Prasad. The responsibility of Home Department was withdrawn from Sanjay Prasad on the instructions of the Commission during the elections. Since then it was believed that he could be given this charge again at any time. Deepak Kumar has been given the responsibility of basic education along with finance and secondary education. At the same time, the displeasure of his departmental minister was heavy on Dr. Hariom and he has been sent from the Social Welfare Department to the Vocational Education Department.
