Up: Akhilesh Yadav’s Call For Mayawati As Pm Isn’t Just Rhetoric, It’s A Strategy For Nitish Kumar

Akhilesh’s statements on Mayawati and Nitish Kumar are not limited to mere rhetoric. This is part of SP’s deliberate strategy to gain the sympathy of Dalit and Kurmi community. Not only this, the decision to celebrate the birth anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram on a large scale is also focused on the 2027 assembly elections.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav once again reiterated on Saturday that the India Alliance wanted to take Nitish Kumar to the post of PM, but the BJP did not keep him anywhere. Without any immediate context, he also said that we also wanted to make BSP supremo Mayawati the Prime Minister under the SP-BSP alliance. Through these statements, Akhilesh has worked to awaken the long suppressed desires of the Dalit community, especially the Jatav caste and the backward Kurmi community.

Nitish Kumar is from Kurmi community. Akhilesh had expressed the anger of JDU workers on his X account after Nitish Kumar’s decision to leave the post of CM of Bihar became public. In this, JDU workers are seen throwing plates kept for food in a public program. This fact is also important that there are 11 Lok Sabha members from Kurmi community in UP, out of which 7 have won on SP ticket. The Kurmi community here has also been feeling connected with Nitish Kumar.
