After Falling Over 520 PTS, Sensex Traded 374.43 PTS or 0.45 per cent lower at 82,639.53 at 1.39 PM. Nifty 50 depreciated by 85.55 pts or 0.34 per cent to 25,338.05. Nifty Fell to 25,280 Level in Early Trade, And Sensex Hit 82,480 Mark.
Both Midcap and Smallcap Indices Traded Nearly Flat, Edging Up 0.15 per cent and 0.10 per cent, respectively. Sectoral trends were mixed, with psu banks leading the gains at 1.5 per cent. Oil & Gas, Pharma, Metal and Realty Indices Posted Modest Advances, While It, Consumer Durbles, Private Banks, FMCG, Auto and Healthcare Stocks.
Top Gainers & Losers of Nifty 50
Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Shriram Finance, Asian Paints and State Bank of India Led the Gainers of Nify 50 components with a 1-6 per cent surge, While HCL Tech, While HCL TECH, TITAN, TITAN, TITAN, TITAN, ICICI BANK, ICICI BANK, ICICI BANK, ICICI BANK India Declined Little over 1 per cent.
Union Bank, UCO Bank, Canara Bank, PSB and Punjab National Led the Gainers of Nifty PSU Bank.
A total of 3,042 stocks were tradeed in the market. Out of these, 1,483 stocks advanced, while 1,446 declined and 113 remained unchanged.
DURING The Session, 62 Stocks Including The Heavyweight Adani Power, Eicher Motors, Eternal, Hyundai and Ashok Leyland, Touched their 52-wheek high, Whreas 25 Stocks 25 Stocks Fell to their 52-new-kets. Additionally, 80 stocks such as Orchid Pharma, Inox Gren, IZMO and HindMO and Hind Rectifiers, Were Locked In the Upper Circuit, While 40 Hit the Lower Circuit.
Midcap & Smallcap Movers
Vodafone Idea Rallied Nearly 10 per cent under the midcap basket. Ireda, Vishal Mega Mark, Union Bank and BHEL SoAred 3 per cent.
Meanwhile, SBI Cards, Tube Investment, Max Health, Page Industries and Exide Industries Dropped Little Over 1 per 1 per cent.
Under the smallcap segment, anant raj and redington shares zoomed 6-8 per cent. Affle, Aster DM and Idbi Followed with 2-3 per cent increase.
HBL Engineering, PEL, Signature Global, Indiyamart and Manappuram depreciated by 2-3 per cent.
On the bse, adani power, alivus life science, anup engineering, atgl and adani green emerged as major gainers with 9-13 per cent surge. On the flip side was pc jeweller, snathvi movers, Godrej indesutries, coromandel and eclerx services.
