Controversy increases over the run out of Pakistan captain Salman Aga

New Delhi. There was chaos in the second match of the ODI series being played between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Bangladesh wicketkeeper Liton Das has given a sharp reaction to the ongoing controversy regarding the run out of Salman Ali Aga. The run out of Pakistan captain Salman Ali in the second ODI against Pakistan on Friday, March 13 is in controversy. Although he was given out according to the rules of the game, the way Mehdi Hasan carried it out is raising questions on the spirit of the game.

The incident happened in the 39th over when Pakistan was building a strong partnership between Salman Ali Aga and Mohammad Rizwan. On the fourth ball of the over, Rizwan played the ball to the right side of the bowler. Bangladesh captain Mehdi Hasan Miraz tried to stop the ball with his foot in the follow-through and collided with Agha standing at the non-striker’s end. The ball stopped near him and Agha was outside the crease for some time.

The batsman picked up the ball and tried to bend to return it to Mirage. The Bangladesh captain picked up the ball and threw it underarm on the stumps of the non-striker’s end. After Miraj’s appeal, on-field umpire Tanveer Ahmed sent the decision to the third umpire. The TV umpire, after watching the replays, found that the batsman had not kept his bat inside the crease. Salman Aga was declared run out.
