The shadow of LPG crisis over the Prasad of Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya? Danger to Ram Rasoi!

The increasing tension at the international level and the Iran-Israel war is also affecting the Ramnagari Ayodhya. Due to disruption in the supply of LPG gas, the collective kitchens of monasteries and temples and the preparation of Prasad are in danger. There is a shortage in the ‘Shri Ram Rasoi’ operated in the Amava Ram temple located near the Ram temple.

According to the temple administration, it is facing difficulties due to non-supply of gas cylinders. In this kitchen, free food was provided to about 20 to 25 thousand devotees every day.

Gas crisis looms over 150 shops too

The effect of gas shortage is not limited to temples only. Around 150 shopkeepers around Hanumangarhi are facing the problem of making laddus and prasad as the production in the factories has been affected. Hotel and restaurant business is also being affected due to the gas crisis, due to which the food arrangements of the devotees are being affected.

Preparation to run kitchen with coal and heater

The temple administration says that in view of the situation, preparations are now being made to run the kitchen using the old system i.e. coal furnace and electronic heater so that the devotees do not face any problem in getting the food offerings.

Sita Rasoi had to be completely closed for a day. However, now under alternative arrangements, preparations are being made for coal furnace and electronic heater so that the devotees can get food prasad.
