Building relationships and maintaining them is not everyone’s cup of tea, but some people make it their profession. Some earn money by hooking up with people in exchange for sleep, while others become girlfriends for rent. 25-year-old Ruby Jade, resident of Brisbane, Australia, is one such woman, who earns lakhs of rupees by becoming a ‘professional girlfriend’ of men. Her job is to go on dates with men, spend time with them and make them feel like a girlfriend. In return they charge huge fees from them. Recently, for the first time in Ruby’s career, this happened when a client decided to ‘dump’ her i.e. end the relationship with her. But this breakup was also not an ordinary one, the client had to spend more than Rs 1 lakh to separate from Ruby.
Ruby Jade says that this is the first time in her career that a man has left her. The reason was that the client was now expecting ‘something more’ from Ruby, whereas physical relations have no place in Ruby’s profession. Ruby has made it clear that she only takes money for outings and dinners, she does not go home with any client. When the client felt that Ruby would not break her limits, he decided to separate. Ruby turned this situation into an opportunity and organized a grand breakup date, the total expense of which was astonishing. The total expense of this last date was 1,700 Australian dollars (approximately Rs 1,10,000). Of this, approximately ₹55,000 was Ruby’s fees and the remaining ₹35,000 was spent on dinner, drinks and ‘escape room’ tickets.
Ruby has shared the vlog of this date on her social media. In the video, she is seen eating food and enjoying drinks in a luxurious restaurant. Ruby proudly told that she did not spend even a single rupee, because it was the work of the client. At the end of the date, the client took home a napkin with Ruby’s lipstick on it as a souvenir. Ruby is sad that she lost a good client, but she is also happy that he is now ready to explore other options in his life. While leaving, Ruby also told him that if he ever felt his absence again in the future, he could contact him without any hesitation.
Interestingly, Ruby has no dearth of such loyal clients. Earlier, one of her elderly clients had left around ₹ 13 lakh in Ruby’s name in his will before his death. Ruby Jade’s goal is to become a millionaire through this profession. She says that people often misunderstand her work, but she just provides emotional support and company. Her clients respect her, although some always hope that Ruby might change her mind someday. Currently, Ruby is single again and is looking for new clients who can spend big money to spend time with her.
