President Donald Trump’s reaction has come on the head cutting of Indian citizen Chandra Nagmallaiya in Dallas, USA. Trump promised to run a ‘first class case’ against the accused and punish the accused to the entire extent of the law. He also resolved to make America again safe and said that his administration will not be soft towards illegal immigrant criminals.
Trump criticized the policies of the Biden government
Donald Trump described the attacker on the social media platform Truth as an illegal immigrant. He said that he should have removed the country. Trump blamed Biden’s liberal policies for not doing this. During this, he strongly criticized the immigration policy made during the tenure of the Biden government. He said that no softening will be made towards these illegal immigrant criminals.
Why did Kobos kill Nagmallaiya?
According to the Dallas police, Chandra Nagmallaiya, originally from Karnataka state of India, was murdered by his colleague Yordanis Kobos-Martinez (37). There was a dispute between the two about the poor washing machine. Cobos allegedly lost his temper when Nagmallaiya asked another person to give his instructions instead of talking directly to him.
Nagmallaiya was killed on 10 September
On September 10, there was a dispute over the washing machine in ‘Downtown Suites’ Motal in Dallas, Texas, after which Cobos was so enraged that he chased Nagmallaiya with a knife and then separated his head in front of his wife and son. The killer also used to work in the same motal. The police have arrested Kobos with criminal history.
CCTV footage of incident viral
The CCTV footage of the incident also went viral, in which Kobos was seen taking out a knife and attacking Nagmallaiya. US immigration officials confirmed that Cobos was also detained earlier, but was released in January 2025 after Cuba refused to accept his exile.
