With half-centuries from Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell and a century partnership between the two, West Indies scored 254 runs for six wickets against Zimbabwe in the ICC T20 World Cup Super Eight match here on Monday, which is the second highest score in the history of the tournament. West Indies took the class of Zimbabwe’s bowlers and scored a lot of runs.
This is also the highest score by any team in T20 against Zimbabwe. Earlier, against Zimbabwe, India had scored 234 runs for two wickets in 2024, but West Indies has now made this record in its name.
